i'm proud of singapore's table tennis woman team (: it's already a very great (X a million) accomplishment for them to clinch the silver! whether or not they can beat china tonight is not at all a must! but then, i still say sg stands a little tweeny bit of chance of beating china hahah! cos they have no pressure at all now, unlike last fri! whilst china are pressurised to win the top spot! last fri's match was really a close fight! the south koreans are really tricky man. they kept playing defence la. but tian wei was quite patient to challenge her opponent's style of playing and not be too aggressive, which apparently resulted in her win, IMO.

collected my race pack for SBR last fri with ang. this yr was a little better, cos there's a goodie bag unlike last yr (not even a proper plastic bag). the tee's not so complicating as well. no more uhm, zoo-like designs. LOL. while on the bus journey to safra, we overheard the conversations of these 3 top students from some of the top schools in sg. we weren't trying to intrude their privacy, but that stuck up boy was too loud for us to not hear him. so what if u are from a prestigious school. that doesn't make u the BEST. or even if are amongst the cream of the crop, you are not given the right the look down on pple. what he said really pissed me off, really. he was like saying, "SG everything also cannot make it one la" when the tv mobile was showing the yue gu match where SG's chance of winning silver was at stake. whatever la. then u go play lor. i bet you cannot even make it into team sg please. i really felt like smacking that smirkish and nerdy-looking face. arghh. he spoilt my mood. anw, i shall talk about something nice. i think this olympics thingy kinda show the sg unity spirit, even if pple don't show it physically. it's comical (to me, maybe) to see all heads turning to the small tv screen on the bus on fri afternoon. everyone's eyes are practically glued to it la. and i bet everyone's feeling the same tension as if they were at the match venue itself. i love watching gymnastics and swimming most. and i think michael phelps is one great swimmer of a lifetime. i take my hats off him man. as of today, he won the 8th gold medal for swimming la. and almost every medal came a world (if not olympics) record. GENIUS man!

i felt enlightened after kwee gek taught me a little about bmm just now. if not i think i'd still be a blur sotong after medsoc exam tmr, trying to figure out how to study bmm! i wonder how the paper for medsoc would be like. the short answers cant possibly come out history of the different mediums, can they? i can't wait for wed to come..... ):
