living in sg makes me feel really secure and fortunate; whatever it is, we are always surrounded by our neighbouring countries, protected from all the possible natural disasters.
it seems like one disaster is never enough. it's really pitiful for the citizens of myanmar to suffer the cyclone. and then 2 weeks later, its neighbour china was shook with the terrible earthquake. my heart really goes out to those who had suffered in these 2 ordeals. yet, we people always doesn't cherish what we are being endowed. simple necessities are a problem, especially myanmar. sigh too bad for the citizens, for having such a headstrong g. who resisted help. i think if a survey was to be done, people would be more willing to help china than myanmar, though the latter may need more help. oh well. as what hbf said, we can only empathise. and yea, donate. i did, at the atrium ytd (:
oh well. anw, my mum said that there'd be another quake in china in oct, according to the news report. HAHAH, it's near the period when I am going for the study trip. and yea, there she goes again, blah blah blah. LOL, i told her that I don't mind dying there, if that's my fate. u must be thinking i'm insane right. aye, i believe my destiny is set already (though I can change it if i want). anw, i think my classmates are pretty lucky. a bunch of them went to cheng du for IBSM trip in march. it's the exact location where the quake occurred, just that it was 2 months ago.
fri's BMM was so boring...that you see my classmate dozing off....

dined with ang at the wc cc's farmosa. it doesn't seem like the one that moved from ginza. the taste is different. price also V different. LOL. that silly girl removed all the pork balls after I told her that it contained alot of fats. even my attempts to help her remove it was in vain. LOL, i think my friends are starting to get influenced by me. even wenyi and shuyun now become so calorie-conscious that they would think of the calories that they are gonna take in before they order something to eat. they even chose happy meal on our thurs' proj meeting cos it's healthier and less fattening. oppss XDXD
i'm waiting for the west coast plaza to open. saw on the papers the other day that constructions would be done in oct! there's gonna be a whole lot of better retail stores appearing. and f&b places like sakae and sushi tei! yay =D next time don't need to go town already.
