for the past 5 days, i've been baking n cooking. not every of the 5 day though.LOL. but the turnout is not exactly fantastically yummy. but, first time after all.

021006:
went to my aunty's house to bake cake! this is so-called a 'trial'. cos it's not intended to be given out. hehs XD. anyways, most of the folding n stirring of the mixture is done by my aunty. i only helped to stir once in a while n pour the mixture into the container (to be baked in the oven). it's a sch hol on that day, so my two lil cousins are like sticking in and out of the kitchen yearning for the cake to be done so that they can have a piece of that cake. but in actual fact the cake is not even in proper condition yet! lmao. just after the baking n everything n we thought that the cake can be cooled, we made a mistake. both my aunty n myself forgot to 'poke' into the cake to test if the 'inside' mixture is still 'liquid' or 'solid' (if u get what i mean). so when i inverted the cake on the rack, the middle portion flowed out like no one's business. n i didn't notice it until my aunty told me to stop n invert the cake back. so, the cake, from a whole n perfect-looking one to a cake with a hole in the middle (that resembled a pandan cake); like this:














fyi, the black stuff on top is smashed oreo, not chao-da. the remaining 'liquid' mixture that poured out was made into another cake(but a flatter version) :















well, a good start for a first attempt (lol, self-comforting). but my grandma complimented! she like it, but it's because she fancied buttery cake. but i thought it was too buttery(which means fattening) and covered the cheesy taste.

went to my aunty's house again! this time to do muffins but not cake in case it turns out too ugly. this time round, i did everything on my own.the cake, or rather, muffins, were more presentable but less buttery(which means, a bit dry; but cheesy XD). hope those peeps whom i gave to like them. those are melted choc on top; on the top right is for huiching (cos she wanted to eat up 'Os'):

had been eating mooncakes since mon. it's delicious to a sweet-tooth like me, but, can it can be quite 'scary' to be continuosly eating mooncakes. mooncakes contribute to accumulation of fats in by body too. haha.

shall end the crapping here. off to my cousin's wedding later! n don forget my BIG DAY tomorrow! outing with UC too(after so long)....GLEEeeeee. will be back with more about my birthday! (=
