back from HOPES camp'06, a camp organised by leo (lion's children) club. the 'leo' has got zero relation with people of the leo horoscope. in fact, this cca has people of different horoscopes. btw the camp was all right on average. but i've got one vvvvvv bad thing to comment on. the food that is! it's not horrendous, but the quality is a bit disappointing despite being sponsored by whoever from np. i tot nyaa camp's food was the worst. this is the worst.

had some ice-breaking games n then it's outdoor cooking. had can food (everyone brought something; i brought tuna!), instant noodles, baked beans, hot dog, campbell soup. i am a good cook (self-praising) lol! actually it's kai xin, chloe n me who can cook better than the GUYS. =D but after eating those food our stomaches are like filled with gas: did catch some sleep for a few hours after some mass UNO playing (which couldn't finish cos there were too many ppl playing it). but the air-con broke down on us just when we were rejoicing over the fact that our room has some cool air(the other rooms have air-con but ours just simply didn't work initially). so it was pretty stuffy. but when the air-con comes in, it's really a hair-stand+trembling-all-over experience. even jackets n sleeping bag as blanket wasn't warm enough.

flag day! woke up to a 'fantastic' breakfast i must say. a v unique way of drinking milo. my first time using a spoon to slowly scoop n drink from the 'lunch box'. but i like the nutella (= everyone was supposedly stationed around clementi to do the flag day, but there were simply too many ppl doing flag day at the same area. so my andrea (GL) initiated that we go IMM to beg for shealings. but andrea, hui wen n me went west mall-ing in the end. renkai n yuheng also joined us, but the both of them went bukit gombak later on. flag day was never a good experience. there can be really nice n generous people but some are simply _____ . at least they should have acknowledged us even if they didn't want to donate. there were simply too many excuses of 'I have no change'. but i was quite lucky i think. i got quite a few $2 from some generous people. tried to target the aunties n also married couples with kids (cos kids would definitely ask for the stickers). my tin was 3/4 filled after 1.5 hrs. had equal amount of rest sitting facing Eu Yan Seng. but before that we went shop n save to quench our thirst. saw my aunt working there. so furtively gave us one box of lexus munchys. how nice! she always is. but i told her no in case she get into trouble if the supervisor finds out. but she insisted that we take n eat it. later on, during her break, she treat andrea, hui wen n me old chang kees. haha then we were so pai seh, especially andea n hui wen. they felt so guo yi bu qu cos my aunt even treated them XD went back to the children's aid society (if u pronounced it too first it will become children aids society) to return the tins n then back to np for the chilli rice lunch. actually it's chicken rice but there's only a few pathetic pieces of chicken(with a majority of bones) n 3 slices of cucumbers. -_-''' cut costs. it was napping time till 5-6 pm. games after that (much better than the games on day 1 i must say) at 6 plus continued by the dinner. played water bomb at freaking midnight T_T.

a v slack day. watched the video (a compilation of the 3 days' camp pictures) done by kaixin n andrea. breaked camp is 1 plus.

though this camp maybe a bit boring at certain point, i'm glad i went! cos i got to know many friendly faces. not like some CCAs...
