okay, i admit that jc life was not fantastic on the first day, but now that orientation had just ended, i wished that there will still be more orientation programmes on monday. sigh many jcs still have it on until monday.my bro used to had a 8 days orientation! exactly double of mine.)x anw, here's a LONG flashback on what happened during the entire SAINTALDEIA(the only paradise left on earth.lol)~:
first day(030106) [start of school]:
the first thing that charissa and i did when we stepped our foot into the new campus was to just stone. then we saw other school's students gathering around some green boards and realised they were staring at the OGs that they were allocated to. i was in OG 21 and charissa was in OG 27. then we proceed to the cultural centre(CC) to where i met many strangers from all over singapore. there were people from SCGS, rv, the 'CHIJ schools', CGSS, SMGS, catholic high, NHSS, CTSS etc. and no, charissa and i were not the most pathetic minority from kr. some schools only had one student in sa. at least i had a companion.heh. our OGLs ARE cheryl and siva(he claims his real name is visa.lol). they brought us to the track where we introduced ourselves and then played some wacko and then it started to get real boring. oh wells. it was difficult at first to remember all their names at first, but now, i can remember them all! the OGLs tried all sorts of ways to make us communicate with one another and to induce some fun into the super quiet OG 21 but it just won't work. just when it was getting real boring our OGLs brought us back to the CC for the principal-cum-subject talk. a not-so-long-as-compared-to-other-jcs two hours talk. i was on the edge of dozing off and the air-con was too cold to keep me awake. sheesh. learnt new cheers, sang college song and hymn. up and on! there were 5tribes(or what people call houses) in SA, namely, Sequila, Aruba, Ivana, Nehoma(my tribe!) and Teliria(i don't know how to spell). first day was a total disaster to start with.
2nd day(040106) [the continuation]:
tribal council time was totally AWESOME today. we had this 'best hunk in nehoma competition' and each OG from 19 to 25 had to send a 'OG hunk' to play the game. but the 'best hunk' thing was just a deception. the ultimate aim is to make the 'hunks' show their armpit hairs. aww, u might start to find it gross, but hold on, u had yet to know the worst part. muhahahaha. the wickest part was that the 'hunks' were not aware that they had to show those 'filters'. they thought they were only flexing their muscles at we audience by folding up their sleeves. each 'hunk' had to draw lots to know of the pose they had to do. there were poses from kingkong to olympic muculines to superman to spiderman. and the OGLs, or SCs from the nehoma tribe were simply evil-ist. the poor 'hunks' had to do their poses over and over again cos their arms were not raised high enough for us to judge the 'best hunk(or bushiest armpit hunk)'.lol. all gross things come to and end. this rv guy claimed the honour of being the bushiest armpit hair hunk in nehoma.lol. played CSI and learnt the 'lindy hop' mass dance. more cheers; more songs; more hoarse voices.
3rd day(050106) [the family affair]:
CIP today. sheesh.-_-'' but it was a quick one. thank goodness my OG was allocated to some blocks near sa to collect newspapers and whatever whatever. some OGs had to go some toa payoh lorong 8 and the salvation army to do their CIP. finished everthing in less than 1.5 hours then slacked around the playgrounds and chat. this handsome OGL named derrick who was kind enough to treat all of us some marks and spencers biscuits. he really looked like he act in mediacorps before.familiar. oh wells. sa certainly has many shuai ges.lol.jungle warfare, or station games, was simply fun. a time to get wet. and i got. played water bombs in many staion games. this particular staion game was that we had to choose a mummy from our OG and wrap him while others go fill up dyed water bombs and then throw at the opponent group's mummy. i think the OGL of that station cheated lor. he said we were given 7 min to fill up the bombs while others wrap up the mummy. in the end even before people from my OG came back, the opponent started attacking. only a few people from my OG were there to protect that already-wet mummy. haha poor thing. we came across squids, watermelons, papayas, tofus! the OGLs definitely had a hard time cleaning up the smashed tofus and all on the track. for the past two days, for all the games that we played, we never won much. it's so unfair cos we always faced the same OG 26 and 28. the DSA people are of course better than us. sheesh. but, it was really fun.learnt a new indian 'archar' dance today.
friday(060106) [the finale]:
handed in the form for subject combination today. the typical subject combi that many are choosing. but it seems like most boys than girl from my OG i choosing that. sheesh. cheered and sang till my voice got hoarse. but not as hoarse as siva's. lol. my OG group was in charge of the nehoma banner. i seriously think that ours is only uglier than Aruba's. but our tribe's skit was the worst. but i loved the mascot. the girl was so poor thing she had to be clothed like some underwater corals. i love Aruba and Sequila's mascots. the coca-cola machine was cool.but cannot fathom why Ivana's banan-man won it. Sequila's ninja-turtle was certainly cute. lol. Teliria had the best skit of course. there's wrestling to spice up everything. but there's this kingkong SAS rugby guy in Teliria whom many disliked. certainly an attention-seeker wannabe. he and his friends certainly made a nuisance of themselves. we won the identity thing but i think it was a fluke. some luck on our side plus i think the teachers took pity on us and gave us that title. Teliria was the overall winner. Sequila claimed the cheering title. they were simply the best. good cheerleading poses man. after all that was a bit of disco-ing. the whole thing ended like near to nine. then went eating dinner with my OG.
orientation was not simply fantastic. it's oh woah! anw, my OGLs are cool. but i think there were times that we disappointed them in cheers and stuff. but whatever, we had fun as OG 21. made new friends. but not to mention, there were stuck-up people. oh wells.

proper lesson starts on monday. oh wells. going to school for only math and the CCA talk.oh my. but the timetable for the next two weeks are AWESOME! i 'truly, madly, deeply' miss my former class. hope 21 comes soon haha our 4/6 gathering date! anw, heard that Os results are coming out soon.like near mid-feb? i'm scared. i want my new class to be like 4/6! don't think that will ever be possible. a school with a myriad of students; aww..i miss my UC too.):
