1st day of sch:
DISASTER
the disaster came in the later part of the assembly.
it started off with the normal routine before the sch hols.
den chumby-chamb intro-ed the new t-chers.
only 3 permanent+2 NIEs.
there weren't many sec 1 cls this yr.
5.only 5.
the worst record since the sch started it's 1st batch.
den it was the one min of silent moment---
respect towards victims of the tsunami.
den came the donation part.
of course, there will be more donations to come in the wk.
(but sometimes i wonder whether the goverment themselves did their part)
we were shown slides of the day the tsunami struck,
as well as of the aftermath of the disaster.
(tt was when the emotional part came in--
the victims were rather pitiful, aren't they?)
tt 1st part of the morning didn't add to the disastrous 3rd jan.
it was the speech made by the principal+various HODs on the expectations of the yr from us tt destroyed it all.
we had to re-greet tt chumby-chamb a few times as everyone was rather lethargic.
mon blues?i guess.
the assembly dragged till abt 10am.
n tt was almost 3 hrs in the hall.
having been able to sit @ the gallery, everything's not tt bad after all.
but on 2nd thoughts, having to sit on cement for the long morning was rather,
painful.n mine, or rather, our backs, were aching.
it was alright after recess.
ms fahizah had to attend to the sec 1s,
so we were saved fr having bio lessons.
ms chow came in after tt.
she was our form t-cher this yr.
she was better than mrs loke,
though i preferred ms fahizah.
sigh!
too bad she was taken by 3e6.
n mind u.it's this yr's 3e6.
n we didn't get her last yr.unfair!
but i wouldn't mind getting ms chow.
but with her as our form t-cher, our cls will never change its bo-chapness+attitudeness.
i really pity her.
after her lessons came mrs yeo.
she was cute, given her size n actions.
n i thought she would slack for the 1st day.
but still, we were given SS source-based test during her lesson.
tt was really a lousy way to end the day for school.
I'm looking forward to wed n thurs.we r ending school @ 1.10pm.
tt was the best news for today.
